Navera Community Connections is looking to fill the Pedagogical Leader of the Early Learning and Family Centre: E.D. Feehan location. At this 47-space Centre, early childhood educators work cooperatively to create a nurturing environment for the children in our care, as well as support, encouragement, and cooperative interaction with their parents. This position ensures consistently high standards in the development and delivery of early learning that provides children the opportunity to learn and grow in a positive and creative environment.

Duties Include: Leadership and supervision of staff, hiring and training staff, licensing and administration, early learning curriculum support, ensuring child-to-staff ratios, support/collaboration with parents, among other responsibilities.

Education and Experience: ECE Level 3 preferred, 2-5 years relevant leadership experience in Early Learning, First Aid, CPR, Criminal Record Check and Vulnerable Sector required, experience in non-profit sector is an asset.

Skills: Strong leadership and coaching skills, communication, interpersonal, computer proficiency, admin/bookkeeping skills, organization and time management, ethical and confidential conduct, judgement and appropriate decision-making, collaborative, shows competence and empathy in working with diverse and vulnerable populations.

Hours of work are based on operational need, Mon - Fri, 40 hours/week. Compensation based on education and experience.
