The Mental Health Program Provider (MHPP) will work under the general guidance and direction of the Mental Health Director. The MHPP will work under the direct supervision of the Mental Health Program Coordinator to plan, administer, implement and oversee a variety of targeted and community mental health programs and community services. The Mental Health programs are designed to assist community members with any family/home unit issues and provide community and targeted programming under the direction of the Mental Health Director and the supervision of the Mental Health Program Coordinator.
- Grade 12 or equivalent training, knowledge and experience.
- Will require a flexible schedule as programming may be outside of regular office hours.
- Valid Sask Class 5 driver's license with a reliable vehicle.
- Able to travel in adverse weather conditions.
- Effective written/oral communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.
- Have proficient computer skills and well versed in all aspects of Microsoft Office and all applicable.
- Must understand the Indigenous ways of knowing, that interconnects with the 4 aspects of life, through the cultural, traditional and land-based teachings.
- Ability to build positive relationships with clients, internal and external resources, team members and administration.
- Have a dedicated team building skills and a positive work ethic.
- Demonstrated ability to be a positive role model.
