The JP admin Assistant will be tasked with the administrative and clerical duties of the program by ensuring that client files are properly filed and maintained, perform basic bookkeeping, organize financial records, routing telephone calls, mail correspondence, and play a supportive role for families of children who require health, social and educational programs and services.
-Maintaining and updating client files and records
-Answering call, taking messages and redirecting calls
-Sorting and distributing incoming mail and preparing out going mail
-Using office equipment like fax machine, printers photocopier and computers
-Submitting purchase orders for approval
-Handling basic bookkeeping tasks like invoicing and submitting cheque requisitions for approval
-Program planning and facilitating
Skills and Qualifications:
-Proficiency with basic accounting and office procedures
-Excellent oral and written communication skills
-Organizational and strong decision-making skills
-Proficiency with office software such as Microsoft Suite
-Efficient typing skills
-Diplomacy and tact with clients
-Knowledge of standard office equipment
-Valid Drivers License
-Office Administrative Certificate or two years relevant work experience preferred
