Part Time, Early Childhood Educator

Turtleford Early Learning Center is seeking an energetic and responsible professional to join our team as an Early Childhood Educator. Our centre provides childcare for 6 weeks - 5yrs, as well
as an After-School Program for children leaving Grade 1 and older.

The successful applicant must posses a minimum ECE Level I (Level II and III will be considered an asset), current First Aid/CPR Certification, and Criminal Record Check. Wage is
dependent on childcare ECE level. NOTE: You must have your ECE education approved through the Ministry of Education (Saskatchewan). This requirement is mandatory to work in a licensed childcare centre. If you took your ECE in another province or country please have your
certification assessed/approved in Saskatchewan before applying.


Duties include (but are not limited to):
Helping plan and implement fun and engaging age-appropriate activities
Providing ideas for activities and play resources to promote and encourage diversity,
acceptance and problem-solving skills
Providing a safe and comfortable environment - supervising the children's classroom and
playground, and walking excursions
Supervising and supporting daily transitional routines
Cleaning and sanitizing toys, furniture and play areas in classroom
Completing children's daily reports.
Supporting and assisting team members

Job Type: Part Time (will the possibility for transition to full time employment in the future)

Schedule:
Hours will vary depending on applicant availability and staffing needs.

Licence/Certification:
First Aid Certification (required or willing to do it)
Criminal Record Check (required)
ECE Level I, II, or III - Ministry of Education, SK (required or willing to obtain)
