The Quality Technologist (QT) plays an important role in the development and manufacturing of products by ensuring that those products meet required quality standards before they reach consumer. The QT is reponsible for conducting inspection and testing procedures and internal audits throughout product development and/or test finished goods. During these processes, the QT records and analyzes results in order to decide whether to certify or reject specific products. This data may be used to solve production issues and recommend improvements.
Education/Experience

Technical diploma in QA/QC or an equivalent combination of education and experience
An ASQ or equivalent qualification is highly desired
Minimum two years experience in a manufacturing environment
Must have experience using quality measurement tools, process, and Quality management system
Familiar with supplier process, product audits, process audits and inspections
Continuous Improvement - LEAN (yellow) an asset
