Donalds Fine Foods is a family-owned business that has operated for over 30 years. We are a specialty meat manufacturer spanning six plants in British Columbia, Alberta, and Saskatchewan serving both domestic and international markets.
We are looking for a highly skilled Human Resources Manager in SK to join our HR team. Reporting to the Vice President of Human Resources the ideal candidate will have a strong background in HR management, excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of HR processes. As an HR Manager, you will play a crucial role in implementing HR strategies that align with our business goals. You will also be responsible for overseeing employee relations, recruitment, performance management, policy compliance, and more.
Bridge employee relations by addressing demands, grievances, or other issues.
Manage the recruitment and selection process, including sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding new hires and reporting functions.
Nurture a positive working environment by promoting open communication.
Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on HR-related matter.
Monitor adherence to internal policies and legal standards.
Deal with employee requests regarding human resources issues, rules, and regulations.
Moves site training and development plans forward as scheduled and required.
Assist in the development and implementation of human resources policies and procedures.
Implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall HR business strategy.
Participate and lead in the investigation process.
Experience:
Proven working experience as an HR Manager.
Knowledge of HR systems such as Dayforce, ADP, Workday, or Oracle.
Strong knowledge of labour laws and regulations.
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and multitask.
Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization.
Experience in recruiting, negotiating, and managing employee relations.
