Description

Overview: The Director of Childcare will oversee a 90-space childcare facility, leading a team of Early Childhood Educators to create a safe, educational, and enjoyable environment for children. This role focuses on continuous learning and fostering a healthy team culture that nurtures each child's unique strengths and interests.
Responsibilities:
    Manage the daily operations of the daycare center, including staff supervision, curriculum implementation, and facility upkeep.
    Establish and maintain relationships with the Saskatchewan Ministry of Education and the assigned consultant.
    Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and staff.
    Train and supervise Early Childhood Educators, promoting their professional development and ensuring high performance standards.
    Implement age-appropriate curricula that support child development and learning in accordance with the Ministry of Education guidelines.
    Assist in managing the daycare budget, including financial planning, expense management, and enrollment processes.
    Address and resolve any issues or concerns within the daycare community.
    Maintain a safe, clean, and organized environment for children and staff.
    Communicate effectively with parents about their children's progress, needs, and any relevant daycare updates.
    Plan and coordinate special events, activities, and programs.
