Description

Purpose
The Program Assistant is responsible for overseeing the planning and coordination of SSA and Trail Fund Programs.

Responsibilities
Promotion and administration of Family Membership
Administration of Online and Classroom Safety Courses including Safety Weeks
Administration and coordination of Provincial Festival
Administration of SSA Excellence Awards & CCSO Awards
Administration of SSA Scholarship
Administration of Trail Evaluation Program
Administration of Online Safety Training Program
Review and update Club Manual annually and post in Club Corner
Organization, collaboration, content creation, and delivery of monthly digital newsletter Oct-Apr
Provide administrative support to Executive Director, as well as back up coverage to other staff

Skills
Proficiency in computer programs such as Microsoft products (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams), Adobe Acrobat, and aptitude for learning new software and systems
The ability to work independently and as a contributing member of a variety of teams to prioritize and complete multiple tasks while adapting to changing circumstances and constant interruptions to meet deadlines.
