As a community-owned service co-operative dedicated to providing exceptional communications and entertainment services and unique opportunities for local expression, Access Communications is proud to work with the people of Saskatchewan. We have an exciting opportunity for Supervisor, Community Relations in Regina, SK.
Main responsibilities include:
Develops, recommends, and implements department goals in alignment with corporate strategic plans.
Actively participates in and supports connections with all communities served by Access Communications; fosters partnerships and alliances and promotes the organizations brand, products, and services.
Initiates contact with local Chambers of Commerce, Saskatchewan-based businesses, and community groups to promote the Co-operative, its community-based programs, and registered charity.
Collaborates with the Manager, Corporate Communications to identify and co-ordinate corporate initiatives relating to community development, corporate sponsorship, and scholarship programs.
Develops concepts and writes scripts for promotional segments, public service announcements and other corporate communication / marketing related opportunities.
Develops plans and oversees the scheduling of significant corporate meetings, events, and projects.
Initiates contact with local Chambers and Saskatchewan-based businesses and community groups to promote the Co-operative, its community-based programs, and registered charity.
Manages both the internal and external facing corporate calendar of events.
Monitors expenses against budget allocation; reports on variances.
