Description

The Legislative Assembly Service of Saskatchewan (LAS) exists to support and enhance parliamentary democracy and the Legislative Assembly for the benefit of the people of Saskatchewan.
The Human Resources Branch is seeking a dynamic and experienced HR Consultant to join our team. Reporting to the Principal Director of HR, this position is part of the team responsible for providing comprehensive HR strategic and operational advice, guidance and support to the LAS, caucus offices, constituency offices and Statutory Officers of the Legislative Assembly.
Key Responsibilities:
    Build and sustain strong relationships with teams across the LAS, serving as a trusted advisor and coach.
    Deliver a wide range of HR services, practices, and programs to support leadership in achieving their strategic goals.
    Provide expert advice on employee relations, dispute resolution, recruitment, staffing, and job evaluation.
Qualifications:
    A university degree in administration, Human Resource management or related field supplemented by progressive experience in Human Resources.
    Strong research, analytical and trouble shooting skills to solve complex problems.
    Self-directed and motivated with strong communication and relationship-building competencies.
    Charted Professional in Human Resources (CPHR) designation is considered an asset.
    Experience in the public service of Saskatchewan and knowledge of the legislative branch is an asset.
