Description

Reporting to the Senior Engineer, Project Engineering, the Project Engineer is responsible for providing project engineering support to an assigned project, managing projects through various life cycle phases from early development of concepts through commissioning and follow-up/troubleshooting. The Project Engineer will prepare work scopes, budgets, schedules, and resource allocation plans for multi-disciple resources, incorporating best practices in safety, cost control, risk analysis, and schedule stewardship to ensure the safe and timely completion of projects within budget requirements. This individual would work closely with KSPC Engineering, Construction, Project Management, Maintenance, Operations, and Logistics to define the scope of each project based on the requirements of the KSPC stakeholders for the required outcomes of each project. -University Bachelor's Degree. Program or area of specialization - Bachelor of Science in Engineering (specific to discipline - (Mechanical, Industrial, Structural, Civil or Electrical)
-Ability to acquire Certification - Professional Engineering Designation (or application process underway)
-3-5 years technical experience; 1-3+ years experience in a heavy industrial process setting preferred.
Demonstrated experience in Engineering environments and working with EPCMs and consultants.

Employment is subject to successfully completing KSPC's pre-employment checks which may include criminal record check, education verification, functional fitness evaluation and drug and alcohol testing.
