Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced School Principal to lead our educational institution. The ideal candidate will be a visionary leader with a passion for education and a commitment to fostering a positive learning environment for students and staff.

Prairie Sky School (PSS) is a Kindergarten to Grade 8 elementary school located on Treaty 4 Territory in Regina, Saskatchewan. We are a Qualified Independent School (QIS), teaching the Saskatchewan curriculum through a specific focus on Arts, Nature, and Community: lessons are taught through an Arts lens, carried out in Nature (as much as possible), and seek to build our local Community.
Prairie Sky School draws heavily on the following educational philosophies:
-Place-based education;
-Land-based education;
-Reggio Emilia approach;
-Waldorf (Steiner Schools) Education;
-Forest School approach.

Responsibilities
-Develop and implement educational programs that align with academic standards and promote student success
-Oversee day-to-day operations of the school, including managing staff, budgeting, and ensuring compliance with regulations
-Foster a positive school culture that values diversity, equity, and inclusion
-Collaborate with teachers, parents, and community members to support student learning and well-being
-Handle disciplinary issues and ensure a safe and respectful learning environment for all
-Utilize strong organizational skills to manage administrative tasks effectively


Experience
Required Skills & Certifications:
-Organizational skills,
-Office management experience,
-Teaching experience,
-Saskatchewan Professional A Teaching Certificate,
-Master's Degree in a Relevant Field (or be currently enrolled in a Master's Program),
-Strong work ethic,
-Dependable and reliable
-Strong communication and interpersonal skills
-Must provide a criminal record and vulnerable sector check.
-Valid Saskatchewan Drivers License.
