We are Sask-based social media marketing pros and ag industry leaders working with an advisory board of local farmers and ranchers to help ag businesses reach, influence, and engage with the ag community by providing great digital and social media marketing.
The Agronomy Marketing Specialist Role:
We are seeking an Agronomist to join our team who enjoys marketing and communications. The Agronomy Marketing Specialist role is a remote, work from home position where you may work from anywhere in Western Canada. This is a unique position with exciting opportunities to contribute your agronomic expertise and knowledge to the creation and execution of marketing strategies, campaigns, and social media content.
The positions primary responsibilities will include strong project management skills and experience.  The ability to use your agronomic skills and knowledge to create, write, review, and edit agronomic content to support our customers digital and social media.
Key Responsibilities:
-In-depth knowledge of agronomy and farming practices
-Ability to think strategically
-Ability to think creatively
-Ability to develop and execute social media marketing strategies aligned with our customers business objectives
-The ability to create engaging content and the ability to learn how to post the content across multiple platforms
-Working in concert with the Senior Social Media Strategist, to foster community engagement and respond to audience feedback
-The ability to analyze campaign performance and provide actionable insights
Qualifications:
-A diploma or bachelors degree in agronomy, ag-business or soil science
-The ideal candidate would have a minor in ag marketing
-A farming background
-Work experience in ag retail
-Knowledge of social media marketing
