Description

Seniors Centre without Walls is a non profit that works with seniors citizens.  We provide a helping had so they can remain living in their own homes.  We are looking for a short term event planner for the months of July and August.
Duties: plan and coordinate the horse and music one day event in a rural area 20 minutes of of Moose Jaw
--Plan community events to promote our programs such as a mini trade show booth of community organizations and businesses that work with seniors
-- develop as sponsorship package for fund raising
--Recruit senior citizens and volunteers
--Develop a rural outreach to recruit senior citizens and volunteers in a rural area around Moose Jaw of a 30 mile radius
--Public speaking ability to give presentations that you have arranged for senior homes and other public places
-
Skills:  Power point presentations, connecting with community organizations, planned the event from start to completion,
Word perfect or other programs to make charts and reports
'--Develop a survey and implement it and compile the results for senior citizens

-- and other related duties

You must have a vehicle and a drivers license and a clear criminal record check.
