Working closely with the Pharmacy Manager and other Pharmacy Team Members, you will be responsible for:
Dispensing prescribed pharmaceuticals to patients, health care professionals and advise them on signs, side effects, adverse effects, drug interactions and dosage;
Supervising Pharmacy technicians and assistants in those functions that are authorized by government and professional regulations;
Being proactive in your conducts at work to improve the pharmacys productivity;
Ensuring there is proper preparation, packaging, distribution and storage of vaccines, serums, biologicals and other pharmaceuticals;
Valuing patient confidentiality, as well as patient privacy by following and enforcing all practices according to Federal and Provincial Law;

Ensuring there is proper disposal of medical waste and expired prescriptions;
Willing to partake in external pharmacy support programs to expand your learning and contribute your knowledge to the pharmacy;
Ordering and maintaining stock of pharmaceutical supplies;
Providing customer service that will promote the sale of co-op merchandise in the pharmacy;
To assist, if required, the supervisor in preparing reports, compiling statistics, processing invoices, and preparing annual budgets;
Maintaining medication profile of patients;
Optimizing both technical and physical resources to provide the best possible care for each and every patient;
