Description

The Northwest Regional Housing Authority (NWRHA) is located in the communities of Buffalo Narrows and Ile a La Crosse and also serves the surrounding communities of Turnor Lake, St. Georges Hill and Michel village.  We are currently recruiting a full-time Administrative Assistant to join our team in Buffalo Narrows.  If you have proven problem solving skills, work well in a team environment, and have a desire to provide exceptional service to tenants in the community, this position will be of interest to you!

The Position:
Reporting to the Operations Supervisor, this is a front-line position responsible to:
-Respond to inquiries related to housing programs and services, including incoming calls and walk-in traffic
-Enter applicant and tenant data, ensuring accurate and current information is maintained
-Maintain general office, tenant, and rental until file systems
-Provide clerical and administrative support to office staff and Manager as requested
-Prepare maintenance work orders, tenant packages, correspondence, and reports

Responsibilities and Requirements:
-Efficient with Microsoft Office.  Experience with JDEdwards preferred
-Excellent organizational, interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills
-Ability to work independently and as part of a team
-Ability to maintain confidentiality and provide professional service to clients/customers
-Exceptional client relations skills including experience working with seniors, families, and at-risk individuals

Qualifications:
-Grade 12 or equivalent (some post-secondary in business administration would be an asset)
-A valid drivers license, reliable, roadworthy vehicle, and an approved Enhanced (Vulnerable Sector) criminal record check are conditions of employment
