Description

Non profit that works with senior citizens is looking for a temporary part time bookkeeper. This position is in our office two days a week.
Update bank reconciliations and prepare monthly financial statements, issue government remittances. Working knowledge of accounting principles, Word, and accounting software. Administer daily financial and accounting transactions. Reconcile bank account and credit card accounts, Pay bills, reconcile source deduction remittances, Managing bank and general ledger reconciliations, Resolves account discrepancies by investigating documentation, reconciliations to Vendor Statements, gathering and sorting documents, Assist with payroll processing and ensure timely payment of employees, Finalize summer student data after students are done.  Do year end financial statements for each individual grant plus the overall non profit. Perform other admin duties as needed.
