Responsibilities:
Night Support Workers are members of the Oakdale team and work together to provide housing supports for clients in a flexible, compassionate, and responsible manner.
Qualifications:
Experience in human services, supported housing, or with persons with disabilities/addictions;
Knowledge and understanding of Aboriginal culture and marginalized populations;
Drivers license; Vehicle;
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal);
Basic computer skills;
Must pass criminal record check and vulnerable sector check;
Ability to work independently;
Remuneration: $22.62 Hourly

Duties and Responsibilities:
Review communication board and log books when coming on shift, review who is on-call staff and supervisor;
Be available to respond to client needs and requests where reasonable in a friendly and courteous manner;
Ensure property security alarms and cameras are on and functional;
Assist other programs when requested, to ensure safety of staff and residents;
Responsible for maintaining clear and concise logs of all unusual occurrences or suspicious activities;
Respond to accidents, contact EMS or administer first aid/CPR as required;
Be available for community members for mentorship and consultations via telephone;
Assist community members, guests, employees during emergency situations;
Ask for assistance from night float as needed, additional support with incidents or additional cleaning duties;
Be aware of emergency procedures in the event of the need for building evacuations;
