Description

This position will be responsible for organizing, executing and evaluating fun, safe and developmentally appropriate programming and care in our new After School Program, launching in the 2024-2025 school year.

The After School Program Lead will work within the guidelines, policies and mission of the Agency and will be accountable and responsible for specific projects as assigned.

They will practice from the Development Relationship Framework to ensure that interactions with youth include; expressing care, challenging growth, providing support, sharing power and
expanding possibilities.

Minimum 2 years of experience working in a childcare setting.
Early Childhood Education (ECE) certificate or similar education
Management or supervisory experience is an asset
A combination of education and experience may be considered.
First Aid/CPR certification
Effective oral and written communication skills
Strong problem-solving skills
Ability to interact with people of all ages and cultural backgrounds
Ability to support the needs of the team with empathy
Strong interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong computer skills
Ability to adapt to changing environments
