Description

Job Purpose:
The Crisis Counsellor (CBT) provides immediate crisis intervention and short-term Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to individuals experiencing acute emotional distress or crisis situations. This position focuses on offering evidence-based counseling techniques to promote coping skills, emotional resilience, and recovery.
(CBT-Cognitive Behavioural Therapeutic Modality)

4.    Collaboration and Referral Coordination:
5.    Client Education and Support:

Qualifications:
Bachelors / Masters degree in counseling, Clinical Psychology, Social Work, or related field required.
Licensure or certification as a counselor (e.g., LPC, LMHC) preferred.
Proven experience in crisis counseling, CBT interventions, and mental health assessment in a clinical or community setting.
Strong knowledge of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) principles and techniques.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively engage and support clients in crisis.
