The Ministry of Highways is seeking a highly motivated, positive self-starter to join the Asset Management team in the Operation Standards Branch. As an Asset Management Data Analyst, you will play a crucial role in supporting the maintenance, development, and implementation of Asset Management systems.
To qualify for the Asset Management Data Analyst Position, you must:
- Possess a solid foundation in statistics, practical experience with statistical software (such as Excel, SAS, and MATLAB), and mastery of data analysis languages including SQL, Python, and R.
- Have worked with Database Management Systems, including SQL Servers, Oracle, MySQL and NoSQL, and have had previous experience with Database Management Tools, including SQL Server Management
- Studio or Oracle SQL Developer.
- Be capable of critically evaluating data to derive meaningful, actionable insights.
- Demonstrate superior communication and presentation capabilities and can simplify complex data insights for audiences without a technical background; and more!
As an Asset Management Data Analyst, you should have:
- An ability to work on multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
- Skills in report writing and presenting findings to large audiences.
- A good understanding of the highway's surface preservation and maintenance practices would be considered an asset.
- Experience with various programming languages, such as Java, C++, C#, PHP, and Pascal, would be considered an asset.
