Description

We are seeking a Laboratory Assistant to join our team. The Laboratory Assistant will provide ongoing support to the laboratory.

Duties:
        Collects dirty glassware from laboratories
        Washes, dries and sterilizes glassware
        Receives shipments and distributes to laboratories
        Sterilizes and disposes of liquid biohazardous waste
        Washes and folds laundry for laboratories
        Assists with buffer and media preparation

Qualifications:
        High school diploma or equivalent experience

Work Environment, Physical Demands, and Safety Considerations:
        Must be willing and capable of safely lifting static weights up to 25 lbs
        The position requires prolonged standing, walking, crouching and reaching.
        Work environment may require use of specific PPE
