As an Agricultural Equipment Technician, or Heavy Equipment Mechanic, you work independently to perform complex diagnostics, service repairs and maintenance on agricultural and turf equipment.  You work both in-field and in-shop requiring very little direction, as a Journeyperson, you share your knowledge by mentoring others.  

For you to be successful in this role you:

- Thrive on exceeding expectations.  Because you like going above and beyond, you know working extended hours and some weekends is part of the job.
- Ability to perform complex repairs and maintenance using special tools and equipment.
- Expert knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems used in the repair of agricultural and Turf equipment.
- Most importantly, you understand agriculture and the challenges facing growers.

For you to be selected for an interview you have:
- Completed a certified trade such as Agriculture Equipment Technician, Heavy-Duty Equipment Mechanic or similar.  May consider 3rd or 4th level apprentice; John Deere certified a strong asset.
- Minimum 5 years of experience performing diagnostics and service repairs.
- Computer skills required, Service Advisor an asset.
