Description

This position is responsible for administrative duties to support the Jordans Principle Program as outlined herein:
RESPONSIBILITIES:

Type, photocopy and fax documentation for the Jordans Principle Program as required;
Set up and maintain a filing system for tracking and reporting purposes;
Specific administrative and technical support to the Jordans Principle Coordinator and Outreach Worker as required;
Prepare meeting logistics and take notes as required;
Work with the kotawan Manager and/or Director to process invoices for approval, track and distribute payments;
Receive and document calls for support and serve as a contact person in the community/service area for Jordans Principle requests;
Assist in collecting information provided by the client as needed;
Assist with intaking and tracking documentation for processing;
Develop and maintain an electronic data tracking mechanism to support processing and reporting;
Maintain a high degree of confidentiality in relation to Jordan's Principle information;
Always maintain professional conduct and engagement;
Knowledge of the Cree language, values and teachings is considered an asset;
Other duties, as assigned within the scope of duties.

Qualifications:
Possess a certificate/diploma from an accredited recognized business course with a minimum of one (1) year experience would be an asset;
Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate, both verbally and written;
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision;
Ability to develop rapport with clients;
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint as well as other office equipment;
Must possess a valid Saskatchewan driver's license (Class 5), have access to a reliable vehicle as some travel may be necessary;
Must provide a current, original, Canadian Criminal Record Check (CPIC) with vulnerable sector search as a condition of employment;
