Non-repetitive welding, building truck mounted vacuum systems in our manufacturing department for a variety of applications.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
Ability to follow safe work practices
Proven ability to read and understand shop drawing and
blueprints
Proven ability to safely operate hand power tools, cutting
torch, welding machines, etc.
Prepare materials for welding and setup of welding machines
Knowledge of proper use and maintenance of equipment such as
Ability to communicate and follow written and verbal
instructions
Well organized team player
Flexible and adaptable to shifting priorities
Pride in maintenance and care of equipment
Weld parts to create sub-assemblies as per specifications
General housekeeping of area including cleaning and
maintaining welding equipment
Can work under minimum supervision
Enjoys working independently and as part of a team
WHAT IT TAKES
Welding Certification (Saskatchewan Polytechnic or equivalent
experience)
6 Months to 1-year minimum hands-on experience in
manufacturing setting
Demonstrated knowledge and experience using a variety of tools
Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings
Knowledge of relative safety standards and willingness to us
PSE
Ability to work at a sustained pace and produce quality work
Demonstrated precision and attention to detail
Ability to work cooperatively and effectively as part of a
team
