Chief Beardys Memorial Elementary School is accepting applications to the following position:
Literacy Support Teacher

Successful Candidates must possess the following:
    Training and/or experience for the position.
    Strong interpersonal skills and willing to work as a positive team member.
    Strong understanding of curriculum development, instructional strategies, and assessment practices.
    Provide and deliver high-quality instruction, fostering an environment of continuous improvement and innovation in teaching methodologies.
    Development of assessment strategies to monitor student progress and inform instructional decision-making
    Cultivate positive relationships with parents, community members, and other stakeholders
    Strong classroom management skills.
    Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
    Current Criminal Record Check and Vulnerable Sector Check
    Knowledge of First Nations culture and language would be an asset.
Professional Requirements:
    Professional A Teaching Certificate
    Bachelor of Education Degree

Salary: will commensurate with education and years of experience.
