What youll be accomplishing:

Lead and mentor a team of engineers, specialists and project management personnel to:
-Deliver an annual portfolio of projects, ranging in value from $20M to $50M by directing project teams at the McClean Lake Operation (MLO) and Saskatoon office
-Direct, support and monitor consulted engineering and project delivery services

Be a Champion for:
-Technical evaluation and solution assessments across the company
-Assessing risk, deploying mitigations and applying safe work practices
-Annual and long-term preparation for sustaining and improvement projects
-Continual improvement

Plan and Integrate:
-The annual sustaining and project capital portfolio and associated budget
-Collaboration with the MLO, the ultimate customer for all engineered output and project outcomes

Implement:
-Methods to create, support and monitor high-performance project teams
-Risk assessment and mitigation, and opportunity identification
-Measurements and metrics to make data-driven decisions
-A retention and growth plan

Qualities and skills were seeking:
-15+ years of engineering and project delivery experience
-A degree in Engineering; Registered as a Professional Engineer in Saskatchewan with APEGS
-Certification in Project Management (PMP)
-Specialization in Engineering Management (MEM) or Business Administration (MBA) is an asset

Work Location & Schedule:
-Hybrid position at both MLO and Saskatoon Corporate on a two (2) week, repeating schedule, adjusted as necessary based on project or team needs
-International and domestic travel is required
