Description

Greeting customers and completing sales transactions
Supervising and coordinating sales staff and cashiers
Assigning sales workers to duties and preparing work schedules
Authorizing payments and the return of merchandise
Resolving problems, including customer complaints, supply shortages, delivery issues, special orders, damaged products, and special liquor permits for events
Ensuring store stock is replenished throughout the day and maintaining specified inventory
Understanding and explaining products and promotions to customers
Assisting with store decoration and client presentations
Preparing daily sales transaction reports and sending them to the manager via email
Hiring and training or arranging for the training of new sales staff and monitoring their performance
Ensuring the visual standards and image of the store are maintained, including store displays, signage, and cleanliness
Performing key holding and managerial duties as needed, such as opening and closing the store, managing escalated complaints, developing and implementing marketing strategies, and signing for deliveries
May perform the same duties as workers supervised.
