Description

The Principal will be responsible for overseeing Chief Kahkewistahaw Community Schools day-to-day operations.  Academic leader, logistics, scheduling, teacher and staff evaluations, student services and community relations fall under the purview of school Principal. You will need to present reports, documentation and other findings related to the management and success of the school on a regular basis.  The Principal shall be a position that serves the function of educational and administrative officer of the school in accordance with the policies and regulations of the Education Committee.  The Principal directly reports to the Director of Education and is accountable to the Education Committee and Chief and Council.  Chief Kahkewistahaw Community School is a K -12 school. Student enrollment exceeds over 260 students per year.
Preference will be given to those with 5 + years experience and/or those with a masters degree.
