The opportunity
Assists with ad-hoc Operations and general supply chain projects as required.
Supports and develops supply chain simulation models to support the development of detailed Capacity Planning models, evaluate capital projects and support operational decision making.
Analyzes supply chain data to identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement.
Conducts various scenario analyses to evaluate the impact of strategic and operational supply chain decisions, and communicates results effectively with stakeholders.
Maintains and updates existing simulation models to reflect changes in operations, processes, and strategies, and develops and documents simulation model best practices.
Collaborates with the Operations team to gather requirements and identify opportunities for new simulation models and use cases.
You have
Bachelors degree or diploma in Engineering, Computer Science, Applied Science, Operations Research or a related field.
Minimum three to five years of relevant work experience in a supply chain or operations role.
Experience in rail, vessel or terminal operations and logistics would be considered a definite asset.
Experience with SQL and any programming languages (VBA/C#/Python/Java) and standard simulation software (e.g., Arena, AnyLogix) is considered a strong asset.
An equivalent combination of experience and education may be considered.

Experience managing or contribution to supply chain projects and execution, particularly those involving simulation or modeling, is considered an asset.
