The Ministry of Education provides leadership and direction to Saskatchewans education, early years, library and literacy sectors. The Strategic Policy and Planning Branch advances the mandate of government and the ministry through leadership in ministry and sector strategic policy and planning, risk management, reporting, policy development and intergovernmental relations. The branch engages youth, parents, educators and others in the development of policies and plans for Saskatchewans Prekindergarten to Grade 12 education, early years, library and literacy sectors.

The Ministry of Education is seeking an experienced, innovative, forward-thinking leader to join the Strategic Policy and Planning Branch as Director, Strategic Policy.

Candidates for this position would typically be expected to have a Masters degree in public administration, education, or social sciences combined with significant experience in public policy analysis and intergovernmental relations.
