Description

The White Bear Education Complex (WBEC) seeks a vice principal. WBEC is 13 km north of
Carlyle, in the heart of beautiful Moose Mountain, near the majestic White Bear Lake. WBEC
believes in maintaining a low student-to-teacher ratio (~6:1) and fostering a school climate
guided by the 7 Grand Teachings - bravery, honesty, humility, love, respect, truth, and wisdom.
WBECs second-level services are provided by the Treaty Education Alliance (TEA).
WBEC provides excellent benefits and supports continued professional professional development opportunities for all staff. Candidates must model positive communication, professionalism, and respect. Knowledge of First Nations culture, language, and traditions is an asset. The duties, roles, and responsibilities of the Vice Principal are to assist, support, and report to the principal. The vice principal fosters and ensures that WBEC staff follow the Mission, Vision, and Goals of WBEC.

QUALIFICATIONS:
    Post-Secondary Degree in Education with previous teaching and/or leadership training, certification and/or experience.
    Must hold a valid Saskatchewan Professional A Teaching Certificate and have registered with the Saskatchewan Teachers Professional Regulatory Board (SPTRB), or willing to be registered.
    Preference will be given to candidates with a Master of Education or those with advanced education, training and/or certification in the area of school-based leadership, educational administration.

    You are an experienced, highly organized and effective educator with previous school administrator experience and strong leadership attributes.
    You are an educational leader and innovator with a persistent belief in the learning success of students, and expectations for a high standard of excellence.
