The Role
Reporting to the general supervisor, maintenance, you will be responsible for leading a team of maintenance tradespeople in a way that sustainably maximizes the use of assets. You will ensure processes are followed, and work with your team to make improvements as opportunities are identified. You will coach and develop a team of problem solvers.

In this role, you will:
-Provide oversight for instrumentation for process circuits, mobile equipment, and underground mining equipment for both surface and underground applications.
-Provide oversight of plumbing crew for surface activitys including maintenance on boilers, propane heating systems, as well as regular surface plumbing requirements.
-Provide oversight of carpentry crew for surface activities which primarily is the upkeep of surface buildings including our camp residence.
-Assist with other discipline supervisors as required to achieve common goals

Required:  
-Valid Saskatchewan or interprovincial journeyperson instrumentation electrical red seal trade certification or a technical diploma/degree in an electrical related discipline.
-10 years of relevant work experience, or equivalent
-3 years minimum working in an underground mining environment
-Equivalent combination of education and work experience considered.
-Strong organizational, problem solving and communication skills.
-Work a rotational schedule and commute to site by aircraft.
-Valid first aid certificate
-Ability to obtain a Saskatchewan supervisor certificate.

Recommended:
-Previous industrial site instrumentation experience including working in an underground mine.
-Previous working experience using SAP, 4-Hana, Sigga, Bentley as well as Microsofts suite of applications.
-Experience using Mobile Devices including Ipads or Iphones for work orders and other regular day to day business communications.
