DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Recertify & repair equipment
Inspect machinery as it arrives, unload parts, & assemble with the safe & effective use of hand & power tools
Relocate unassembled equipment as it arrives, positioning the machinery & pieces needing to be assembled, using hoists, dollies, & trucks
Interpret diagrams, blueprints & schematics to determine work procedures
Identify & correct any problems found in machines, equipment, or processes in order to facilitate production
Ensure that safety policies, quality standards, & standard operating procedures are followed
Pull test equipment as part of recertification
Processing jobs according to defined company policies & protocols
Providing details necessary to administrator for job number assignment
Reviewing, understanding, & completing work order
Ensuring all required parts & components for recertification are in stock or on order
Work Area & Tools
Maintaining work area to keep it clean & tidy & to remove any obstacles that could present a hazard
Maintain all equipment & tools in clean & good working condition
Assist in identifying low stock & supplies as necessary
Provide assistance to other areas of the company, as required
REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS
Journeyperson Certificate
Experience in moving, assembling, disassembling, troubleshooting, & repairing various types of machinery & equipment
Any safety-related training & certificates would be considered an asset, but not required
