Alarm Installation Technician Apprenticeship Opportunity
We don't hire often but due to expanding business operations we are currently hiring. Gardon Securities is currently looking to hire an Alarm Installation Technician Apprentice. An ideal position for someone with no experience looking to enter the trades. The candidate will learn how to install and maintain security systems with training on Network Video Systems. CCTV, Access Control, and Intrusion Alarm systems.
Under the supervision of the Field Operations Manager, the Installation Technician will learn all the above and become proficient in this trade. The candidate will perform preventative maintenance, emergency maintenance, troubleshooting and repairs of electronic equipment and software, as well as end-user assistance regarding the proper utilization of these systems. The chosen candidate will travel within Saskatchewan / Western Manitoba and overnight stays away from home are occasionally required.
REQUIREMENTS:
Great attitude, work ethic, and willingness to learn.
Clean Criminal Record Search.
Valid drivers license and clean drivers abstract.
Ability to lift up to 70 lbs.
Ability to climb ladders and work in confined spaces.
Ability to work on call and out of town when necessary.
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Skills in computer networking is beneficial.
Experience with power tools is an asset.
