Description

Position Duties
- Oversee and direct fleet of drivers based on daily needs, and coordinate and assigning specific tasks, instruction, and guidance
- Schedule, dispatch, and monitor driver and equipment workloads and locations according to customer requests, specifications, and needs
- Consistently communicating with drivers regarding specific trip requirements - load pick up/drop off, departure times, delay information, and other topics as required
- Communicate with the sales team and operations to ensure customer expectations are met and/or exceeded.
- Adhere to DOT, Provincial carriers regulations, customer safety requirements

Qualifications
- High school diploma is required
- A minimum of 6 months experience as a dispatcher
- Exceptional communication and decision making skills
- Experience with Microsoft excel
- Prior experience with hours of service regulations and/or electronic log books
- working knowledge of weight and dimension regulations
- Able to carry a cell phone

Schedule: 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday to Friday
