Are you passionate about dance and eager to share your passion with others? Youth Ballet of Saskatchewan is seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic summer student to join our team as a Summer Assistant from August 12th to August 30th, 2024.

Position Overview: As a Summer Assistant you will assist  in managing and organizing dance classes for students ranging from 4 to 18. This is an excellent opportunity to learn organizational and leadership skills in a supportive and collaborative environment.

Responsibilities:

Assist in organization and child care during the two-week summer camp schedule.
Monitor the children in the hallways and assist students as needed.
Answering general questions regarding the new season, instruction, rates, and other general areas.
Assist in costume organization and preparation for the new season.
Provide any other assistance required by our teaching and office staff to help get make Summer Dance and the new season a success.
Take photos and assist in social media campaigns.
Qualifications:

Able to pass a background check for the vulnerable sector.
Passion for dance and children's education.
Previous experience at Youth Ballet of Saskatchewan a plus.
Excellent organizational, communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work well in a team environment.
Must be available from August 12th to August 30th.

Compensation: $14 per hour
