Preference will be given to the candidate with the following experience & training:
Early Childhood Certification or a degree in the Human Services field, with extensive knowledge of quality early learning environments, childhood development, family dynamics and prevention strategies. Equivalent experience &/or education may be considered.
Experience and training in the planning and delivery of programs and services for children 0 5 and their parent/caregivers, both one-on-one and in group settings.
Experience managing staff in the delivery of programming.
Demonstrated ability to work in a collaborative environment with community partners.
Proven ability to work both independently and as a team member.
Must possess effective communication skills (both oral and written) as well as strong problem solving and critical thinking skills.
Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism.
Strong computer skills.
Must possess a valid drivers license, have access to a reliable vehicle and obtain a $2,000,000.00 business liability insurance policy.
Ability to travel on occasion as may be required by the position.
