Description

Pure Energy Dance Co. has been a well recognized and reputable multi-discipline dance studio in Saskatoon since 1976.  

This is a contract role for an on-site Office Manager in Saskatoon, SK. This position runs during our dance season, from September to May, and possibly may include limited hours during the summer to support dance camps and general administrative tasks. As an office manager, you will be responsible for coordinating day-to-day operations. You will handle payments and invoices, answer emails, c

Duties:
Assist dance parents and students with the online and in-person registration process
Keep updated records of class lists and communicate changes in a timely manner to instructors
Create parent notices regarding important dates and information such as picture dates, hair and makeup requirements, extra practices, competitions, and recital schedules
Ability to calculate and take payments for studio-related fees and then accurately record all payments in the proper student account
Identify accounts that are in arrears and tactfully and courteously work to collect outstanding funds
Active participation in measuring students for costumes and ordering the correct size
Place costume orders, track shipments and and distribute once received
Accurate and prompt submission of competition dances and dancers in the correct categories by the required deadlines
Organize dates and schedules for all studio events
Regularly check inventory and then order or restock all office and bathroom supplies

Qualifications:
Graduate from a business degree program, preferably in management or equivalent, or a student who has completed at least one year of a business degree program, preferably in management or equivalent.
Knowledge of other business aspects, such as marketing and finance (e.g., applying for grants), would be an asset.
This role requires strong communication and interpersonal skills and creating a positive and inclusive environment.
