The Rural Municipality of Marquis No. 191 is now accepting applications for an experienced seasonal Grader Operator. Start date to be determined as mutually agreed upon.
Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Maintain effective work relationships with Council, Administrator, Foreman, and Ratepayers
Follow direction and work unsupervised.
Demonstrate high standards of work practices
Perform daily maintenance checks, and servicing of all equipment operated to ensure equipment is maintained properly
Proficient with both written and verbal communication; and
Operate the grader primarily for road maintenance and snow removal tasks.
Preference will be given to those candidates that possess:
Minimum 2 years of experience operating a grader
Knowledge in road maintenance, preservation and construction;
Mechanical skills
Good communication and organization skills
Ability to work independently and with others
Good work ethic
Have a valid driver license
