Description

Northwest School Division, Meadow Lake Office, requires a temporary, full-time Mental Health Capacity Building School Coordinator with duties to commence August 1, 2024 and terminate July 31, 2027.
  
The School Coordinator will work under the direction of the Deputy Director of Education and work closely with the Saskatchewan Health Authority (SHA) Provincial Mental Health Capacity Building (MHCB) representative.  The position is responsible for providing leadership, direction, supervision, and structure to support the overall objectives of the MHCB program.  

The successful candidate will have a related post-secondary degree or diploma in the health or social sciences field (e.g., health promotion and prevention, kinesiology, social work, nursing, psychology, public health, social sciences), or a relevant combination of education and experience.
Preference will be given to candidates with a minimum of 3 years of experience working in promotion and prevention, and child and youth development. As well, candidates will have the ability to engage others and develop working relationships with community partners.
The MHCB Coordinator will provide leadership and supervision to the Mental Health Capacity Building Wellness Promoter as well as other responsibilities and duties outlined in the current job description.
