Description

The Ministry of Justice and Attorney General provides a fair justice system that upholds the law and protects the rights of all individuals in Saskatchewan; promotes safe and secure communities; and provides legal and justice policy advice to the government.

The Deputy Minister's Office with the Ministry of Justice and Attorney General is seeking a highly organized and detail-orientated individual to join our team in the role of Executive Coordinator for a six month term.  Located in Regina, this opportunity will be of interest to administrative professionals who are interested in helping the Ministry provide a fair justice system that upholds the law and protects the rights of all individuals in Saskatchewan.

As an Executive Coordinator, you will provide senior-level administrative leadership and office management to support the Deputy Minister's Office (DMO).

The ideal candidate will be an experienced administrative professional who has:

- Knowledge of government protocol, policies and procedures, including cabinet decisions and processes;
- Knowledge of the programs, policies and issues with regard to the Ministry of Justice and Attorney General;
- Knowledge of office management and administrative practices and procedures;
- Superior communication and interpersonal skills in order to work effectively with a diverse community of staff, colleagues, and external clients; and,
- Strong organizational skills, as well as the ability to maintain strict confidentiality and exercise sound judgment.

Typically, the knowledge and experience required to achieve the above is obtained through:

- A combination of formal education in business or office administration, combined with work experience in a similar role; and,
- Experience using a variety of computer software applications such as Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook).
