Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on trailers, including brakes, suspension, electrical systems, and other components.
- Conduct thorough inspections of trailers to ensure compliance with Saskatchewan safety regulations.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues, and recommend appropriate repairs.
- Complete necessary paperwork and documentation related to inspections and repairs.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of tasks.
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Trailer Mechanic, with a strong understanding of trailer systems and components.
- Capable of performing Saskatchewan safety inspections.
- Knowledge of trailer repair techniques and tools.
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Excellent attention to detail and time management skills.
- Prefrence given if the applicant has welding and aluminum welding experience
- Valid driver's license (1A license is an asset but not necessary).
- Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects.
