The Receptionist at Protex Environmental serves as the initial point of contact for customers and visitors. Their key responsibilities include promptly answering incoming calls and emails, efficiently routing requests to the appropriate staff, and providing administrative support to the Office Manager and other team members.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist customers and visitors in a friendly and professional manner
- Handle inquiries, direct calls and respond to emails promptly
- Transfer calls and emails to relevant individual or department
- Handle document filing and maintaining organized records
- Monitor and manage the general email inbox
- Process customer payments via internet, telephone and in-person as needed.
- Maintain a neat and organized reception area
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned
Training / Experience Requirements:
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (i.e. Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize effectively.
- Friendly, approachable and customer-oriented.
- High school diploma (or equivalent) required.
- Post-secondary education is considered an asset but not required
Wages and Benefits
Term 1 Year
Hours: Monday to Friday 8:00am 5:00pm
Wage: $ 18-20/ Hour (dependent on experience and qualifications)
