Description

Nakoda Oyade Education Centre (NOEC) is two (2) full-time Education Assistants (EA) for the rest of the 2024/2025 school year. NOEC is a K-12 school with approximately 270 students enrolled. The school is located on the Carry the Kettle First Nation between the town of Sintaluta and Montmartre SK.
The successful candidate will work full time and assist with students in various classrooms.
Desired qualifications and assets for this position include grade 12 education, a demonstrated ability to work with children, job commitment, ability to take direction and be a team member. Preference will be given to the person that has completed the Education Assistant program or ECE certification.
The successful candidate will work under the immediate supervision of a classroom teacher, learning resources teacher, and under the overall supervision of the Principal.
A criminal record check and vulnerable sector check are also required for this position.
The successful candidate will possess an understanding of, or desire to learn about Nakoda values and will be required to participate in cultural activities.
