Description

Our Sales Manager will be responsible for providing the strategic leadership that drives and sustains the growth and profitability of our sales department.  

Responsibilities:
Manage new and used wholegoods equipment and maintain an effective inventory control system
Achieve market share targets reflected in the long-term objectives of AgWorlds business plan
Implement department sales goals
Develop a well-trained,confident and successful sales team
Work with the marketing coordinator to develop a marketing plan to get our products to market,and increase brand recognition
Establish best practices and common processes,including a well-defined accountability process for the sales department
Prepare a business case for new business opportunities
Assist in the implementation of AgWorlds strategic business plan

Requirements and Qualifications:
5+ years of related management experience preferred
Bachelors degree in business or related field considered an asset
Excellent sales skills
Experience in team leadership and management including development and training
Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with business partners,customers and staff
Possess advanced levels of critical thinking,logic and reasoning skills
Ability to handle stressful situations professionally and patiently
Managing multiple projects simultaneously
Must be available to travel and have a valid drivers license
A farming background or previous industry experience required
