West Oak Investments is seeking a dedicated & experienced Commercial Property Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of a portfolio of commercial properties, including leasing, financial management, tenant relations & property maintenance.
Responsibilities:
Manage all aspects of commercial properties, including tenant & landlord relations, maintenance & repairs, leasing, financial management & compliance with regulations
Develop & monitor property budgets, ensuring financial objectives are met & expenses are controlled
Review financial statements & prepare reports for property owners/senior management
Conduct property inspections to identify maintenance issues & ensure property is well-maintained & compliant with safety standards
Serve as the primary point of contact for tenants, addressing inquiries, concerns & requests in a timely & professional manner
Stay informed about local zoning laws, building codes & other regulations, ensuring compliance at all times
Collect rent payments, late fees & other charges from tenants & maintain accurate records of financial transactions
Develop & execute marketing strategies to attract & retain tenants, utilizing various channels
Qualifications:
Post-secondary education in Business Administration, Real Estate, Finance, or related field is an asset
Previous experience in commercial property management is an asset
Strong understanding of property management principles, leasing practices & financial analysis
Excellent communication & interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with others
Proficiency in property management software (Yardi) & Microsoft Office Suite is an asset
Detail-oriented with strong organizational & problem-solving abilities
Professional certification such as Certified Property Manager or Real Property Administrator or willingness to complete once hired
Valid driver's license & reliable transportation
