Prairie Consolidated Constructing Inc. is a start-up company looking to build an industrial construction services team. The Plumber Journeyman/women will perform quality maintenance services on commercial and industrial sites. This position will support work sites in Regina by providing expertise in plumbing, HVAC/R and some sheetmetal expertise. You will work collaboratively with the Site Superintendent.
Responsibilities:
Work within commercial and industrial environments
Complete the required daily equipment inspections, safety reports, and Field Level Hazard Assessments
Lift up to 50 lbs
Perform work using hand and power tools in a safe manner
Read and interpret blueprints, basic spec, and shop drawing interpretation considered an asset
Maintain clean and operable equipment, and work areas at all time
Maintenance and service of plumbing equipment such as pumps, boilers, HVAC systems and backflows
Other duties as assigned
Minimum Requirements:
Journeyman Plumber certification
HVAC/R and/or Sheetmetal experience is required
5+ years in a similar role
Gas A Ticket is an asset
Gas and boiler experience is required
Valid class 5 drivers license and current drivers abstract
Valid safety certifications such as First Aid, WHMIS, TDG, CSTS, PSTS, Fall Protection, AWP, H2S Alive, considered an asset
Compensation Package:
Vacation Entitlement: 15 business days per year. Must be accumulated prior to taking them.
Probation Period: The probation period is 90 days from the start date.
Criminal Record Checks are required for all Prairie employees prior to being hired. This will be obtained at your expense and will not be reimbursed by the Employer.
