The Wellness Promoter reports to the Mental Health Capacity Building School Coordinator and is accountable to a school division-level representative as appointed by the Director of Education. The Wellness Promoter works as part of a team to meet objectives of the Mental Health Capacity Building (MHCB) program. These objectives are met by developing and delivering developmentally appropriate, evidence-based programming to children, youth and families. The Wellness Promoter is expected to spend 80% of work time in direct contact with children, youth, school staff or parents.
This position is a three year term starting August 20, 2024.
