Description

This posting is for a Permanent Full-Time ELIS (Early Learning Intensive Support) Educational Assistant in our Pre-K classrooms at Connaught Elementary School, commencing August 26th, 2024.  Educational Assistants are an important part of the school team and promote engagement, participation and success of students. Educational Assistants support students with intensive needs in five key areas: providing personal care, life skills and experiences, academic assistance, communication, and behavioural support as required by students and directed by teachers.


Qualifications

Minimum Grade 12 education with at least one (1) year relevant childcare experience
A post-secondary certificate from a recognized institution in Early Learning & Childcare, Youth Care Worker or equivalent program will be considered an asset.
